Wandsworth Common paths - trees and shadows

This is a vibrant pastel painting of the late afternoon sun setting over Wandsworth Common in London. It was created in October 2019, using a colour study and photographs. I was particularly struck by the shadows cast by the trees and the contrast of warm and cool. 

Note, pastels are very sensitive to touch. Your painting will be sent with a protective cover which shouldn't be removed until you are ready to frame. 

30 x 30 cm. Soft pastels on Pastelmat. Framing required.
