North Cornwall coast

This pastel painting is of a stretch of the South West coastal path between Boscastle and Crackington Haven. The weather changed every 5 minutes from bright sunshine to mist and drizzle. 

I have used a fair bit of imagination and license to create layers of vibrant colour which reflect the landscape rather than imitate it. 

Note, pastels are very sensitive to touch. Your painting will be sent with a protective cover which shouldn't be removed until you are ready to frame.
